Re: Guns in America
In One Year on Average 114,994 people in America are shot in murders, assaults, suicides & suicide attempts, unintentional shootings, or by police intervention.

Doesn't seem like terrorism is their main problem.....

Btw out of all of those 114k "only" 34k are killed rest survive.

That's like a normal British sized town are killed each year. quite shocking

Know the place well, MPS OB were OK never had dealings with STP OB, this cop was a proper cunt, how they found him not guilty, I don't know, well they fucked him off out of the force, so even his own OB thought he was a cunt

Re: Guns in America
Funny as in all my hols I have spent nigh on 40 weeks in the gun toting murdering US of A... and not once have I ever felt threatened.... and that includes having a hotel a few blocks away from South Central... and yet... back home in good ol blighty.... I walk down Southend High Street at night and I'm constantly looking over my shoulder.... give me the US any day of the week

Re: Guns in America
Sister-In-Law and Mother-In-Law went to Memphis to visit Graceland. Went out drinking in the local area and witnessed a shooting where a bloke was killed and a 17 year old girl caught in the cross fire and then got their drinks spiked.

Its not all Statue of Liberty and Mickey Mouse, go off the beaten track and that country can be pretty fucked up.

By comparing south central LA favorably to Southend on Sea, you're just damning south central with feint praise

Jim... we drove just under 3000 miles last August taking in Cal-Arizona-Nevada-Utah.... saw plenty of the arsehole of the US and I think it's a must to get off the beaten track and see the real country... yeah there are some shit holes but maybe apart from Long Island and Inglewood we never felt in any danger what so ever... I mean they even do fucking tours of Compton now !!

Re: Guns in America
Interesting article on the psychology of fear around guns vs terrorism in the US.

Apparently you are 3210x more likely to die because of a gun in the US than because of terrorism.

Re: Guns in America
Their attitude to gun ownerships is fucking retardrd.

So much of their crime would be avoided if civilians didn't have access to guns

Re: Guns in America
The truth is Gavvy darling... is that I have had more guns pulled on me here (one)... and more knives (a few)... than I have ever had in the US... so until I get shot through the spine I will continue to say as I have found the place... which in the main .... is pretty safe

So what you're saying is America doesn't have a problem with guns because you've been there and didn't get shot?

In that case, ww2 wasnt dangerous because my grandad was involved and didn't die.

Re: Guns in America
usually true Sold0 but this is special ops stuff....going into the heart of enemy territory, dodging the spastics in their Fords on the A127, avoiding the mobility scooter hordes on Rochford High Street, laying in wait on reconnaissance in the bushes on Sutton Road, scuba'ing up Prittle Brook....all with the same end goal: the elimination of Northern Sold0.

Re: Guns in America
Cholo.... app' 4,000,000 British visited the US every year... in the last 4 years there has been 15 people murdered in the US (14 in France !!)... so 16,000,000 Brits have visited the US over the past 4 years and 15 people have been murdered... so yeah I feel pretty safe when I go out there... far safer than here
